Ironstone is led by Craig Bustos and Paul Presberg, who founded the firm with the goal of enriching the lives of everyone they work with, both personally and professionally. They are passionate about commercial real estate because it allows them to build meaningful and lasting relationships. Together, they have completed more than $280 million in commercial real estate transactions across Colorado, with a specialized focus on industrial assets in Colorado.
Craig is a Founder and Partner of Ironstone with nearly 20 years of experience in commercial real estate spanning appraisal, brokerage, and investment.
His eight years in appraisal and six years as a broker gave Craig a strong foundation in valuation, market dynamics, and transactions. Combined with six years as an investor and owner, that experience has sharpened his ability to identify value, assess risk, and recognize what makes a property a great investment.
Craig approaches every opportunity with an ownership mindset, disciplined underwriting, and a long-term perspective. Just as important, he genuinely enjoys people and believes great business is built on authentic relationships. He values the relationships he builds with sellers, investors, brokers, and partners and strives to treat everyone he encounters with respect and integrity.
Paul is a Co-Founder of Ironstone, where he is involved across all aspects of the firm’s investment and operating platform. His responsibilities include deal sourcing, underwriting, capital raising, acquisitions, leasing, asset management, dispositions, and helping shape Ironstone’s long-term strategic vision.
Prior to Ironstone, Paul co-founded a technology company that built a digital marketplace connecting young professionals with emerging consumer brands. He also attended Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, graduating with degrees in Finance and Real Estate.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife, Emily, and their dog, Chorizo, as well as fly fishing and golfing. Most importantly, he believes in investing in the people around him and values building lasting relationships within his community.
Marshal began his career as an officer in the U.S. Navy before serving as an aerospace defense contractor for the U.S. Department of Defense.
His background, combined with longstanding ties to the steel building industry, provides a unique perspective in advising industrial real estate clients. Marshal earned a bachelor's degree in Advertising from James Madison University.
Dr. John Baker is a Chiropractic Physician, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) Exercise Trainer specializing in physical medicine, biomechanics, rehabilitation, and human performance. He has worked with athletes at every level of sport, including Olympic medalists, World Surf League (WSL) champions, and elite competitors across numerous professional and Olympic disciplines.
Dr. Baker earned a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine along with bachelor's degrees in Human Biology and Kinesiology. Before entering clinical practice, he built his career as a strength and conditioning coach, where he developed a deep understanding of human movement and performance. His approach integrates rehabilitation, performance training, and collaboration among healthcare providers, coaches, and support staff to optimize recovery and athletic performance. Earlier in his career, he served as an Ocean Lifeguard and EMT with the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department while completing his undergraduate education. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Baker is an inventor and entrepreneur, best known as the creator of Catalyst Cream, a recovery topical designed for athletes and active individuals.
He has also contributed to Surfer Magazine and is the author of Repattern: Returning to Divine Design. Dr. Baker lives on the North Shore of Oʻahu with his wife, Dr. Lily Baker. Outside the clinic, he enjoys surfing, diving, fishing, paddling, gardening, and spending time in the ocean.
